The winner of the 2016 Stockholm Prize for Literature will be announced Monday evening at an awards ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden.

It is the first time that the winner of a Nobel Prize will be presented on the same day.

The winner will be determined by the judges of the Nobel Prize Committee.

The Swedish orchestra has performed music from the Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Wagner, Debussy, and Debussy-Stravinsky symphonies.

The prize is awarded to the most outstanding individual work of the 20th century, in literature, art, science, philosophy, medicine, or other field.

The winners are chosen by the Nobel Committee from among 2,500 entries.

The awards ceremony will take place at the Nobel Hall in Stockholm.

The Nobel committee will announce the winners of the four prestigious prize shows, the Swedish Academy of Sciences will present the Nobel Laureates and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences will honor the best foreign writers.

The winning work will be displayed in a public museum in Stockholm in 2022.
