Mashable, in collaboration with Spotify, has released its Top 10 albums of 2018.
It includes everything from The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind the Madness, to Taylor Swift’s 1989, to Chance the Rapper’s Tearjerker, to Kanye West’s Good to Great.

The best of the bestThe top 10 includes some of the biggest names in music today: Drake, Adele, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Ed Droste, Nick Jonas, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Frank Ocean, Future, and the R&B duo of Justin Bieber and Selena.
In the middle of it all is Chance the Rap artist, who is making a return to the music game after a few years off.
The young rapper, who was once one of the most promising talents in hip-hop, is releasing his first album in seven years, Good Kid, M.A.A., with producer J. Cole, with whom he worked on his acclaimed debut, The Life of Pablo.
“It’s just really exciting to get to work again with a group of talented artists who can be as bold as I am,” says Chance.
“This year has been so different than the past couple of years.
I’ve learned a lot from a lot people.
I just feel like it’s been a great ride.”
Read moreThe biggest winnersIn addition to the best albums of the year, Mashable also announced its Top 20 rap artists of 2018, including two newcomers to the game.
One is Chance, who released Good Kid M.P.A.: a collaboration between J Cole and Kendrick Lamar featuring Chance the Kid, the two collaborating on a collaboration called “Nigga Ain’t A Rap,” with Drake.
The other newcomer is Ed Drosten, who recently signed with Kanye West, and produced his album, Black Skinhead.
In a separate release, Mash, Mash and Mash revealed a countdown to the 50th anniversary of the release of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album.
The countdown was updated with the song “I Want You.”
